General Information
We understand that the diary is full and know that, as busy parents, you are unable to attend all of the events on offer, particularly if you have many children in different year groups across the school.
We try to offer a range of events and hope to provide enough notice to allow you to make plans and we are more than happy to welcome parents, relations or close family friends to events. However, we fully understand that your attendance is not always possible. We welcome any feedback relating to the open events that we hold and based on this feedback, we will review events for future years.
Christmas Performances EYFS & KS1 Year group assemblies
Hall space for rehearsal and performance times are a key factor in organising the logistics for these events. As well as that, hall space is required for PE. Therefore, we have to balance all of these things. There is also great demand for tickets to these events. Having assemblies for each year group in EYFS & KS1 reduces the need for rehearsal time (year groups can more easily rehearse in class) and it enables us to have just one performance that can be attended by 2 family members.
Easter Parent activities KS2:
These are optional events for a parent to attend or if attendance is difficult then by another wider family member or close family friend. Due to organisation practicalities we ask that only one adult attends per child. This event enables the adult attending to carry out an activity alongside the children. Only children that have an adult attending the event will take part in this activity with their parents. Children without an adult attending will still participate but at a different time or location.
Parent Consultation
These meetings are an opportunity to have a one to one meeting with your childβs teacher, you will be able to book a time slot. Please avoid bringing your children to this event.
School Events
Due to practicalities please can we ask that where possible, younger siblings are not in attendance.
Due to fire regulations it is also likely that during these events you will be unable to bring a pushchair or buggy into the hall or classrooms. If you are asked to leave it elsewhere, please understand that this request is not meant to offend.
As per school policy, for staff and visitors (including parents) the use of mobile phones is not allowed (this includes call, messaging, photography and video recording). They should be switched to silent and stored away.
Thank you for your cooperation.
