Schools financial value standard
Schools financial value standard explains the financial health and resource management standards schools need to confirm they have met in the schools financial value standard (SFVS). More information can be found on the following link:
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/schools-financial-value-standard
Local-authority-maintained schools must submit the SFVS checklist to their local authority annually. This checklist helps to provide assurance that they are meeting the basic standards necessary to achieve a good level of financial health and resource management. Local authorities use this information to submit an assurance statement.
Old Park Primary School form a working party to determine completeness when preparing the SFVS. The outcome of the SFVS exceeds all expectations as a result of our strong internal controls, financial management and reporting structure.
We have one member of staff whose gross annual salary is banded between £100,000- £110,000.
